Founded in 2016 as Nigeria’s First Co-working Hub dedicated to Fashion Designers, 360 Creative Hub has since evolved around the needs of the Creative Startup Ecosystem in Africa. With two Co-sewing and Co-working Spaces located in Lagos, 360 Creative Hub has continued to deepen its impact and has trained over 300 Fashion Designers on the Business of Fashion, supported the growth of over 100 Creative Startup Brands, provided international market access opportunities for local brands and has also connected many others to funding opportunities.

Most recently among the many strides of the hub in supporting the growth of designers is the $5,000USD Growth Grant won by one of its members, Jay Traks, as a part of the hub’s Fashion Acceleration Program. The Grant was facilitated by 360 Creative Hub in conjunction with Global Accelerator Learning Initiative and Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. Apart from winning this grant, Jay Traks; an innovative Female Ready-to-Wear Fashion Brand, will also enjoy one year of Fashion Business Mentoring and growth support, under the ‘Designer In Residence’ program of the hub.

In a bid to cushion the harsh effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on young fashion startups, 360 Creative Hub has now rolled out a special relief initiative to support designers with access to subsidized production facilities as well as business support, while the effects of the pandemic persists. Also, for designers who do not have the tailors or other logistics needed to carry out their production at the hub, 360 Creative Hub now provides a remote production solution, that takes the stress of equipment, staffing, fabric sourcing and packaging off the designer, delivering just finished products to the designer, such that designers can continue to create and produce profitably during the current pandemic, even if all they have as tools are their designs and concepts on paper.

As a part of this relief initiative, 10 deserving designers will be able to use the Hub for their Production, Free of Charge in the months of August and September .

From now, until Sunday 23rd August, designers can enter the #DesignProChallenge by posting 3 of their best designs made this year on Instagram, with the hashtag #DesignProChallenge, tagging 360 Creative Hub @360creativehub. Winners will be chosen based on the Number Likes, engagement on their posts and the creativity of their design. The Winners (10) will get ₦25,000Naira worth of Free Access to Design and Sew at the Hub in Surulere Lagos, valid until the end of September 2020.
