Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit is an annual program held in Lagos. Hosted by the Lagos State government and startups, creative hubs, investors, Industry experts and top entrepreneurs. This program is aimed at taking a critical look at the Lagos Economy, its potentials and challenges and ways they can be improved for the next generation in every sector.

Industry experts from several industries are invited for a round table discussion in their field, how to improve their sector and how their sectors can improve the economy and contribute to revenue.

Over the last 20 years, recommendations from the Ehingbeti have helped the Lagos State government to focus on areas that concern the citizens, investors, and businesses with positive results achieved.

This year, in conjunction with 360 Creative hub, Ehingbeti is focused on the inclusion and participation of Lagos state women in the Tech space. Over the last decade, the Tech community has developed into a force that cannot be ignored. Technology has evolved drastically, making lives better, solving real-life problems, turning economies around, and also changing people’s lives for the better.

While the state has adopted Tech long ago, now it is seeking to infuse more of its women into that space. The government has partnered with 360 Creative hub and Techuncode due to their commitment to empowering women and building innovative communities to organize and discuss how women in Lagos can be empowered with Tech skills and setting them up for success in their careers.

The event would be moderated by 360 Creative hub MD, Blessing E. Achu, a creative startup ecosystem builder, passionate about Africa fashion and growing African creative businesses with cutting edge tech solutions. She is indeed passionate about supporting the growth of women and youth-owned/led SMEs in the African fashion industry so as to achieve and build a generation of globally reputed “Made in Africa”- brands; ensuring sustainable growth the the Nigerian creative economies, enabling entrepreneurship and job creation.

While this program is open to everyone, it is focused on women. As a woman in Lagos looking to learn a Tech skill and delve into the Tech industry, this is the perfect opportunity for you to have the clarity you need.

The speakers are experienced leaders in their industries. They have integrated Technology into their various core communities to drive change and innovations, with success.
